A porter with a strange hobby that involves riding his motorbike with a bag of cement and a dog on his head has had images of his skill go viral.
Cai Tangmei, 41, has taken the Chinese internet community by storm after he appeared on popular social media website Weibo balancing a bag of cement over his head with a dog on top.
Cai lives with his wife and son in the city of Cixi in eastern Chinas Zhejiang Province. He works as a porter for a local ceramics company and has been undergoing physical training exercises to get his body in shape for the task.
He turned his working space into a makeshift gymnasium with sandbags and weights, exercising whenever he had some free time.
Cai also watches TV upside down to train the strength of his neck muscles, which he often uses to carry bags of cement on his head, each weighing around 100 kilogrammes.
As for balancing his dog when delivering cement, Cai said he used to work as a porter for a circus and got the inspiration from his old job. He spend three months training his dog, known as Xiaohei, and it was not always successful.
Cai said: “Xiaohei would occasionally jump off the bag in the beginning, but after some months of practices, I can now take him easily on my head and while riding an electric scooter.”
He added that he also hopes to be invited to a talent show one day to showcase his and his dogs talents.
